Vickie Demers
CEO
Vickie joined HealthSouth Mountainview in October 2008. She has more than 10 years hospital leadership experience and has been in healthcare for more than 15 years. Vickie has worked in long term and acute care settings and comes from a healthcare background with registered nurses, social workers, and clinical nursing instructors as immediate family members. She received master's degrees in business administration and health administration from Georgia State University in Atlanta and has been a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives for 12 years. Vickie looks forward to becoming involved in the community with her husband and their two daughters.

Russell Biundo, MD
Medical Director
Dr. Biundo became the medical director of HealthSouth in 1991. He also serves as an assistant professor of orthopedics at West Virginia University. His interests lay in catastrophic injuries. Dr. Biundo has offices in both Morgantown and Clarksburg, where he sees patients on an outpatient basis.

Mary Ozment
Chief Nursing Officer
Mary Ozment has been a registered nurse for more than 30 years. Her experience encompasses a wide range of areas in health care including acute care, rehabilitation, case management, and consulting. She is originally from the central plains. She has a master’s degree in nursing and health services administration.

Robbin Butler, OTR/L
Director of Therapy Operations
Robbin began her career in 1986. When HealthSouth MountainView opened it doors in 1991, Robbin served as assistant director of outpatient therapy services. In 1996, she became the director of clinical services. Robbin is responsible for designing intensive acute therapy services and programs which exceed national patient outcomes, community service expectations and patient satisfaction. Robbin is the former WVOTA vice- president and WVBOT licensure board secretary/ treasurer for multiple terms.

Ginger Dearth, RN
Director of Marketing Operations
Ginger comes to HealthSouth with more than 17 years of rehabilitation experience. She is a graduate of Alderson-Broaddus College with a degree in nursing. Prior to working in rehabilitation, she was a trauma ICU nurse at a major trauma center and an on-site reviewer for a major insurance company. She serves as the chairperson of WV TB/SCI Rehabilitation Fund Board and sits on the WV Brain Injury Association Board.

Melissa Uselman
CFO
Melissa joined HealthSouth MountainView in 2009, having worked previously for HealthSouth in Rockford, IL. She has more than 15 years of finance experience, including eight years in healthcare. Her previous healthcare roles were in acute care, long-term care and inpatient rehab. She earned a bachelor's degree in business administration/accounting and is working toward a master's degree in healthcare administration.


Vicky Gallaher, RN, BSN, CCM
Fairmont Unit Administrator
Vicky joined HealthSouth in November 2000 with more than 20 years of nursing experience. She comes from a background in critical care, case management and marketing. Prior to assuming the role of unit administrator at the Fairmont site, she was the case management coordinator and worked very closely with the Brain Injury Team in establishing community awareness and rebuilding the TBI Support Group. She graduated from Alderson Broaddus College with a bachelor's degree in nursing. She has completed the Life Care Planning Certification program and received her Certified Case Manager certificate from the Commission for Case Managers.

Joseph Huffman
Director of Human Resources
Joe joined HealthSouth in November of 2008.  He brings more than six years of professional human resource experience.  Prior to joining HealthSouth, he worked in the technology sector in defense contracting.  Joe holds an undergraduate degree in psychology and a graduate degree in human resources management both from WVU.

Robin Wherry, RN
Director of Quality and Risk Management
Robin brings over 20 years of management experience to HealthSouth from acute care, intensive care, home health and skilled nursing settings. She serves on advisory boards to numerous nursing schools and is a member of the National Red Cross. She is a past hospice volunteer and was directly instrumental in initiating a crisis pregnancy center in our area. She has previously served as our chief nursing officer.She continues to lead our hospital's patient safety intivatives.
